I lived for many years in the lovely city of Oceanside California and we had a really fun harbor area with shops, restaurants and a long boardwalk which stretched into and around the marina. It was one of my favorite areas to walk around and take lots of photos. One day, after a mighty storm, I went down for a stroll and found the sky all pink and rose coloured. It was so lovely, I took many photos and I chose one which I altered with Photoshop polar - rectangular distortion and made this large modern wall hanging. You can see the progression of the work in the other photos. I still consider this art quilt one of my best work.
