For over 3 decades, interest primarily Abstract Expressionism, triumph of American painting, too often marginalized women painters. Elaine and William de Kooning. (Hearing of the married couple, I thought of conversation with Encyclopedia of Creativity Editor, Steve Pritzker. I complained about the underrepresentation of women artists in the encyclopedia. He responded that they couldn't find many women artists who weren't married to male artists, that they wanted women who were independent, not attached to a male artist. I answered, "Who do you expect them to marry?!?"
