Here, I return to a familiar, comforting palette — an ocean-like swell stretching beyond the piece, echoing patterns along the margins. The colors feel like home, a place of safety and stability. Deep metallic gold paint blankets the surface, burying marks like sand. It forms a rich patina that shimmers beneath the blue — half-buried, half-revealed, like the constant push and pull as we search for answers.
