Berkeley, California
I am an abstract painter and mixed media artist based in Berkeley, California.
MessageI am a painter and mixed-media artist whose work explores themes of belonging, identity, and our place within a fractured world. Trained as a filmmaker at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, my artistic practice is deeply informed by storytelling and visual composition. I create abstract landscapes that evoke both personal memory and broader cultural histories, drawing from experiences of migration, displacement, and connection.
I have exhibited widely across the United States, with a focus on meaningful themes such as identity, place, resilience, and transformation. My 2025 exhibitions include the juried Tikkun Olam show at the Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art, which explores themes of healing and repair, and Big Names/Small Art at the Crocker Museum of Art in Sacramento, a popular annual small-format exhibition. I am also proud to be part of the Resident Artists Exhibit at Jen Tough Gallery in Santa Fe, where I maintain an ongoing creative relationship. Other exhibitions this year reflect my engagement with community and thematic exploration, including Mending & Marvels at Arc Gallery in San Francisco, SuperHyperLocal at The Drawing Room Annex, and a fundraiser for LGBTQ+ support centers at the ArtCoop in Champaign-Urbana.
Previously, my work was shown at respected institutions including the New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU) and the Clara Lovett Museum at Northern Arizona University, with exhibitions such as A Sense of Place that resonate deeply with my connection to landscape and belonging. I gained some national visibility came through a Women’s Caucus for Art group exhibition, and I participated in notable shows like the 25th International Open at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago and the 16th Annual 50-50 invitational at Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica.
These exhibitions reflect my ongoing commitment to exploring the intersections of personal and collective experience through abstraction, mixed media, and landscape-inspired work.
