Butterfly Series 2024
This artwork presents a vivid composition where nature is a predominant theme. The central figure of a butterfly, detailed and realistic in its portrayal, commands immediate attention. The flora is set against a backdrop that exhibits a dynamic interplay of textures and colors. The background predominantly features a tactile quality reminiscent of crumpled tissue paper or a collage effect. There is a multi-layered visual experience, where abstract and figurative elements coalesce. The contrast between the precise depiction of the butterfly and the more abstract, textured background creates a fascinating dichotomy. The vibrancy of colors employed in the piece evokes feelings of warmth, energy, and the splendor of the natural world.
It is inspiring to see an artist's passion for nature distilled into such a captivating creation. The emotional resonance that stems from the vibrant colors and textures is commendable. These elements effectively embody the beauty and complexity of the natural world. Art is a deeply subjective field, and every piece evokes a unique response from its audience. The intention and expression in this artwork are clear and resonate with those who appreciate nature's vivid diversity.

Enjoy the process of living with my work.
I began my artistic career early in life. Born into a family of artists, teachers and jewelers in Denver, Colorado, I won my first competition at the age of 17. After high school, I moved to California and attended Santa Monica College, where I studied drawing, painting, and design. Upon graduation, I gained experience in almost every facet of the art community. Among her experience, she worked as an art consultant, represented artists, was a fine art publisher and placed art in corporate collections, residential, and hospitality.
It finally came time to start painting again in the year 2000 doing commissions and more study in painting and drawing.
Recently I began creating digital paintings for fabric design. The inspiration I get in from my art is always changing and expansive. I can take photos of my paintings and a new world opens up using the tools of technology.
