Glass panel in iridized purples, golds and blues, cast glass rings and silver leaf inclusions. Glass chunks and stringers are scintered to the surface. Scintering involves controlling the kiln temperature to melt and attach pre-formed glass components to the surface of the glass. Because glass thicknesses cool at different rates forming glass in this way runs a high risk of fracturing the glass during the process- but I love the gem like sparkle I am able to achieve with this technique.
