This piece was done at a gathering of dear friends at the beach. This pelican came every morning to watch a man who came to fish from the shore. As the storm moved toward the beach from the gulf, one of my friends began to sing and worship. Suddenly a rainbow stretched out from the oncoming storm clouds directly to the beach. This painting was done to honor that special moment.
