I use discarded books from our local library in many of my mixed media pieces. “Shakespeare Jubilee II" was inspired by the book, "Splendid Occasions in English History. " The paper in the book is large and luscious with a lovely cream color. I used this paper to hand print a fern from my garden as an element for this collage. The giclee print faithfully recreates the original. Shakespeare Jubilee l is the perfect complement to this piece.
