"Invisible"is a painting that just begged to be painted. I was in my studio sorting through my collage paper stack and threw a torn circle of paper into another stack. It landed on top of a picture a girl and covered up her mouth but her eyes and nose were still visible. I looked down at it and said, "WOW! That's a powerful story." The painting is about how women throughout history have rarely had an equal voice and how we have spoken with our hands using our creativity in whatever ways we could to make our place in the world. They're are pictures of 17 women in "Invisible." Can you find them all? The original hangs in our living room.
