"Be Kind to Carrots" was my first painting in a series about things we can learn about kindness from nature. I'm a gardener and am always amazed at the amazing generosity the natural world exhibits everyday! You plant a few tiny carrot seeds. Then you water and tend them. For a little work you get a lot of joy and a whole bunch of luscious fresh carrots to eat in return. You may have so many carrots that you find yourself sharing your carrots with your friends and even strangers. Let a few of them go to seed you have all you need for next year. Nature is all about generosity and encourages gardeners to live the same way!
