Lizards Love
Little Anoles are small chameleon type lizards that hang around in my gardens. Excitement will cause a brown one to more quickly turn into this beautiful green. They feel like I experience the dinosaur age when I witness their behaviors, but quite the opposite in size as I am the giant. They do not seem to care, or else they have become used to me, as they once posed in this position for a quick drawing. The painting that I put them into contains spaces where life is going on as usual as they frolic. I employed Chagall’s painting of a horse carrying a marring couple and a wild cat is playing with water in the form of water’s symbol by Euclid to bring innocence to the Lizard Love Play.
