Statement
A student of the National Academy of Art and the Art Students League, I studied with Furman Finck, Ronald Sherr and Mary Beth McKenzie. I have taught the use of art materials and techniques. As a figurative artist I paint from life and also use photographs. My work is influenced by what I read, the music I listen to, who I meet, and the Hudson Valley’s fabulous landscape. You will see on my web site that I concentrate on painting in oil, watercolor and tempera and drawing in graphite and ink. My work has been exhibited in the US and is in collections in the US and Europe.
