Creating art allows me to find my voice in a complex world and share my story through color, tone, paint and photography.
MessageAs an artist I thrive in exploring new techniques and themes. Some projects are driven by the theme and I seek out materials that help translate it onto paper, canvas and wood. Other projects are born through play - with paint, with color, and with tools. Always pursuing concepts that resonate with me.
Sonder is my latest collection of human figures gathering in crowds.
It is defined by the feeling of realizing that every person has their very own story filled with rich details, thoughts and experiences. It's the recognition that each person you encounter is living a life just as detailed and meaningful as your own.
My background is in photography. After receiving an associate's degree in Photography at Toronto, Canada, I spent many years working in portrait and editorial photography.
Now I dedicate my time to my art practice. Both in photography and mixed medium art forms.
- Proud member of City Art Gallery. An artist run cooperative in the Mission District, where I showcase my latest projects throughout the year.
- An active member with ARTSPAN SF for 3 years now. Participating in Open Studios, volunteering initiatives, and donating artwork for fundraising.
- Artspan Open Studios Planning Committee 2025.
My artwork can be found in private collections throughout the Bay Area, in Canada and Internationally.

Statement
My latest collection revolves around a word, SONDER.
I've always loved creating stories about complete strangers that I see while waiting for the train or sitting on a park bench. Sometimes it's full of rich detail. Other times its just sill scenarious. It's my way of affirming each of us has a story. A journey. Hopes and dreams. Friends and lovers. Burdens and joys.
To Sonder
Interpreting and creating my own version of the world as I see it.
And its wondrous & beautiful".
