I’m a lens based artist living in Tasmania. I’ve been fascinated by capturing things with cameras since I was a kid.

Briefly, my life so far has involved; photography, super 8 short film making, work in TV stations including camera, sound and editing, going to art school, being a traveler, going to VCA film school, working more as a TV Editor, film maker, producer, director and short film maker. Going back go art school and getting a fine arts diploma, creating fine art photography and doing exhibitions...
Statement
Artist's Statement
My work explores the exciting space between reality and imagination.
Often my images are a one-time meeting between myself, my camera and the atmospherics of where I happen to be. I know this moment won’t happen again. It’s fleeting, impermanent, and the images are elusive, they transform as I work with them. I take a minimalist approach with my photography. I seek to capture the intrinsic beauty of the moment. I resist excessive post-production manipulation, allowing the image to speak for itself. By embracing a hands-off human approach, I try to preserve the authenticity of the captured moment, inviting viewers to participate in the interpretive process. I question the nature of perception. Is what I see a reflection of my own reality, a projection of my imagination, or something entirely other? By delving into the ambiguous nature of the photographic image, I hope to provoke contemplation and inspire wonder.
