‘Angel’, is one of a seven sculptors block session. All the work of this series (including Angel) were created as an intuitive exploration. No concept was held in mind. It was a process that was exploring the timber with the chainsaw and creating lines and deeper cuts to excavate inward. The form of ‘Angel’ appeared so I developed this. Minimal detail and a soft expression was achieved.
