The inspiration for this bold piece comes from a host of news stories and images of storm and earthquake damage in America over the last few years. What struck me about some of those images was that the homes or businesses seemed relatively whole, just tilted or pushed up from the ground at odd angles. This is one of the few pieces I have done that directly confront climate change. This is a mixed media piece, with watercolor as a base, topped with acrylic and oil pastel. Framed w/o mat.
