The image pictures a person who did cut off all the narratives that she had about herself and is in a transition phase: she knows that she doesn't want to go back to the past, but is a bit unsure of what the future holds. We all have periods of rumination over some changes that we when through in life: "was it the right thing to do? what if I destroyed my life by doing that?".
