Blues by Dasha Pears Image: This work came along when I was shooting my Paper Cuts project, focused above all on monochrome, of the color blue in this case. It was shot at a commuter train station in Helsinki, Finland, and takes advantage of the station's unique design. For me, this work is a reminder that simple things around us can look surreal and magical from a certain angle. But often, we forget about the magic of life, whether man-made or created by nature, and simply pass it by. Yet, the magic is always there, we just need to make a slight effort to get conscious of it and see it all around.
