MessageHampstead artist, Dannielle Genovese has had an abiding interest in art since childhood. Over the years her love of drawing and painting led her to take classes in multiple media with several nationally known artists of distinction, including figure drawing with Don Andrews, and watercolor classes with Jan Kilburn, Dustan Knight and Doris Rice and Vermont artist Peter Huntoon. She has studied the Roketzu-Zome technique of silk painting with Martha Palazza, and printmaking with Brian Chu and Jack Carlton. Her work has been published in Paranassus, the Inter-Arts magazine of Northern Essex Community College and on the cover of the October 2006 issue of NH Living magazine. She has been awarded prizes from the New Hampshire Art Association, the Newburyport Art Association and the Seacoast Artist Association.
Since retiring from teaching in the year 2000, she has devoted much of her time to painting. She has exhibited in numerous places in the seacoast area of New Hampshire, and has shown her work at the Law offices of Boynton & Doleac of Portsmouth, Drake Farm of Hampton, Exeter Hospital, the Kingston Community Library, the Hampstead Library, and the Seacoast Artist Association. She continues to create a body of work through which her unique artistic vision continues to develop.

Statement
I believe that beauty is all around us, both inside our souls and outside of us. It is my purpose, as an artist, to see that beauty and express it in a unique and personal way. Exploring and expanding the limits of each medium, learning new ways of seeing, and communicating that vision are the essence of my journey as an artist.
