These collages are hand-made using 8x10" matboard which both frames the piece while becoming part of the piece itself. Collage flows over and under the frame of the mat, creating a more 3D effect to the collage. This also allows each collage to be framed on its own without the need for a separate matboard. 

Each piece plays on absurdity, but weaves between nonsense absurdity - where the lack of deeper meaning is the meaning  - and social commentary on the absurdity of current world events. They tie together in the size and style only - some pieces in this collection also belonging to other themed collections. 

These pieces all engage in social commentary on some absurd aspect of our world. From the expectations of female beauty standards to debating which people deserve human rights to political uprisings in the name of delusional leaders  - each piece speaks to some aspect of current affairs that is batshit crazy and absolutly absurd. 

Some pieces are more overt in their statements than others, but none of these pieces are for those who want to remain neutral or believe in radical acceptance. 

Be loud. Be angry. Be unapologetic.

Hand-colored Vegas photographs (mine) collaged together, with sometimes additional magazine images. These collages are one-of-a-kind and no two originals can ever be exactly the same.  These analogue collages go against everything AI and mass produced. 

Only a limited run of any single collage may be printed. I am also limiting the number of similar collages or pieces a single image may show up in.  

These pieces are based on my photography from living in Las Vegas since 2009 and some of the signage shown no longer exists. Pieces mix old and new images to showcase the history and entertainment this city has had over the years.
