Dana Lombardo is an award winning professional artist living in Oklahoma. She has been painting for over 15 years, specializing in commissioned portraits and figurative paintings in oil. She is best known for her Western figurative paintings and portraits. Dana grew up in Oklahoma and developed an admiration for Native American culture and history from a young age. That admiration is reflected in her historically accurate portraits of Native Americans. She has always been drawn to people as subjects and loves to recreate scenes that show people in everyday environments. Her newest series of paintings feature figures and locations at the boating areas of Grand Lake in Oklahoma where she lives with her husband and 2 dogs. Dana describes her style as realistic impressionism and works mostly in oils. She has juried into several national exhibitions and has won numerous awards with memberships in several national organizations.
