Chandler says, "We had to be watchful for White men coming into our neighborhoods trying to find drugs or ways to exploit our people for money. It could be through prostitution, drug or illegal gun sales (with them providing the illegal guns and drugs for us to sell to each other). It was all about the money for them—and the destruction of our communities through that exploitation."
