Texas Pastoral Limited Edition of 100
This large oil on canvas was one of the artist's earliest major commissions resulting from a collector seeing the artist's work at a small outdoor art fair. The subject was to be a Texas ranchland landscape in spring along the lines of Texas impressionists Julian Onderdonk and Porfirio Salinas. The work was last known to be in the private collection of the buyer in Columbus Texas. The name of the buyer has long been lost but original photographs of the work taken by the artist before delivery on 35 mm transparency film recorded the work in high enough resolution to permit issuance of a limited edition at a somewhat reduced size compared to the original.
This limited edition is a fine art print of the original oil on canvas painting done by the artist personally in his studio atellier on his large format 7 color, Canon Pro2000 fine art giclee printer on archival quality canvas to museum standards.
35mm transparencies of the original taken by the artist personally makes possible this color rich and true reproduction printed entirely in the artist's studio on canvas.
Each 18x30" print is hand signed and numbered and comes with a signed, stamped and sealed Certificate of Authenticity verifying it's creation by the artist personally in his studio atellier in Austin, TX.
