Transitioning from Abuse to Hope & Freedom - benefit mural for Texas Advocacy Group mural was a group project done for and with the Ascension Leadership Academy (ALA) , project headed by Julie Burnett, The probono project raised $85, 056 for the Texas Advocacy Group by members of the ALA plus generated a $90,500 grant from the Impact Austin Foundation. The project was done with a score of volunteers and a great deal of support by the ALA who through their network donated the use of the massive boom lift and all the paint from local Home Depot stores.
Several news outlets wrote articles and ran video when the project was unveiled in early December 2021.
