This Austin skyline citiscape shows the influence and inspiration of Vincent Van Gogh stylistically while incorporating the artist's recurring theme of making visible the invisible dynamic energy in waves both in the water and sky above. The view is from the south shore of Lady Bird Lake just west of the Congress Avenue bridge looking north toward the capital with the iconic Frost Tower with it's glowing peaked tower of glass under a blue full moon. This is an original acrylic on canvas gallery wrapped impasto painting with painted edges, completed in 2015.

This strictly limited edition of no more than 50 prints is produced at the original size of 46x42" and each canvas is stretched on heavy duty stretchers and gallery wrapped for display like the original without frame.

Upon order each print is custom made by the artist in his Austin Atellier on a large format Seiko Colorpainter fine arts commercial printer on archival quality canvas using ecosolvent permanent inks in with 11 colors for faithful reproduction and deep saturated color.
