Commissioned to create an 8x20' mural for a collector in Liberty Hill Texas, this digital painting was created as a sample/study of what the full mural would look like. Inspired by the Waterlilies series by Monet and by classical Japanese paintings this would also be the study that preceeded the creation of the oil on canvas painting done later the same year now in a private collection in Austin, TX.
As this is created as a digital painting study, the first print is the Artist's Proof and each subsequent print is created exclusively when ordered by the artist personally in his studio Atellier in Austin, TX on a high resolution Canon Pro2000 fine art 7 color printer to exacting standards and precise color fidelity to the original digital work. This edition is offered only in the 24x48" size and each is printed on heavy weight, archival quality, canvas. These museum quality prints if properly cared for and protected from direct UV light from the sun, should last well over 100 years or more with little change in color, contrast or saturation.
