Pastel Artist - Capturing the beauty of nature in landscapes is always a must. However, I like to paint wherever inspiration takes me.
MessageI grew up in Kansas under the influence of a very creative mother, who displayed an actual buffalo jawbone on the hearth room wall as a piece of art. My paternal grandmother was an oil painter who painted the Flint Hills of Kansas, the scenes of Santa Fe and the beaches of Laguna Beach, California.
While art was a part of my life growing up and into adulthood, it wasn't until after a move to Wichita, Kansas in 2014, when my passion for painting was re-ignited. While attending a prominent local art show, Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair, I met a few pastel artists who shared their passion and insights. This introduction into the world of pastels ultimately lead me to where I am now - honing my craft as a pastel artist.
