The Native American in "Eagle Dancer" is of the Mescalero Apache and Southern Cheyenne tribe. As a Men's Northern Traditional Dancer he upholds the ways which have been passed down through the ages, celebrating the heritage and traditions of his culture. He wears sacred eagle feathers which are used in all ceremonies to carry prayers to Creator. His headdress is a quilled wheel of feathers. He is wearing a bone hairpipe breastplate along with symbols of the buffalo which is the spirit animal given to him in a ceremony vision. He carries a feather fan and an eagle dance stick. His Indian name is "Warrior of the Sun Who Walks Gently Upon the Earth".
