Statement

Cynthia (Cindy) Cruz is an artist who was born and raised in Edmonds. Her interest in art began during the trying times of the 2020 pandemic. It all started when she painted with a paint by number set. She enjoyed it so much that she decided to try original florals, landscape and then abstract art. Art is now her passion and form of creative expression. She loves to paint with acrylic paints and also uses spray paints, charcoal, inks, acrylic markers and oil pastel sticks. She enjoys mark making with a variety of tools such as stencils, twigs, squeegees, wedges, trowels, painter's tape, her hands and of course, brushes of many kinds.
