Portland-based artist Curtis Bay creates drawings, paintings, and collages in watercolor, oil, and mixed media. His work is expressive and personal, inspired by the tension between competing realities. His subjects are often from his own circle of friends and family and the natural world, but he freely jumps between figuration and abstraction. 

He received a BFA in Art with Honors from Brigham Young University and has exhibited in Portland and Salt Lake City. His work has appeared in Inscape Literary Journal, BYU Today magazine, and twice in the triennial International Art Competition for the Church History Museum.
