I've painted and drawn for as long as I can remember. My work features woodcut woodblock prints from the past few years of studio work. My subjects include human figures, birds, shells, landscapes, plants, and other things that delight my eye and mind. Everything is original. The only prints I sell are carved and printed by me, with real inks in my studio.
Art background:
My art experiences include oil painting, graphic design, mural painting, photography, animation, lithography, silk screen printing, and exhibit design. I have a Master of Fine Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. I also worked extensively in printmaking at the University of Colorado and the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester NY. I recently retired from a day job as a museum designer. I have frequently shown in Florida west coast art festivals, including Gasparilla and Gainesville and the annual CoolArt shows in St Petersburg. My work has been purchased by Tampa’s “Art In Public Places,” and is included in private and corporate collections.
