"The work examines authenticity and regret as a catalyst to confront exile and what it means to be a foreigner. The house is a room in memory recorded and replayed in each smell and sound; the point of departure. I am interested in the 'hero' that ultimately shifts into self confrontation. It is an invitation to walk into a memory, and also a monument of futility. The window is the world. The friction between absence and presence is the spirit of the work."
