MAIN DESCRIPTION
Nightbloom Fold opens from a deep black field, with petal-like forms unfolding in graphite, pewter, and a small touch of gold. Lace-edged cells move along the form’s rim, catching light against the darker surrounding surface.

This piece was created through a JD-led collaboration with Luis. The composition holds a restrained palette while still creating strong visual contrast, sitting between flower and wave through its folded shape, metallic tones, and shadowed negative space.
