A black and white photo of 7 young Japanese boys carrying a shrine on wooden planks. They are all supporting the shrine from the front. They are all wearing traditional Kimonos, besides one boy to the back who is only wearing pants and a T-shirt. They all have a cloth tied around their heads. There is an older person behind them, also wearing a cloth around their head.
Edward R. Miller, born in Kansas 14 Aug 1919, died 12 Mar 1999. Most commonly used Gelatin Silver Prints. His work is found at the Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago,
