Inspired by a large, five-foot by five-foot painting titled "Riverstones and Whales." I am fascinated by metaphor, and whales serve as a call to explore deeper aspects of consciousness, such as emotions, intuition, and inner wisdom. Riverstones represent accessing your innermost will and initiative; while the stone itself does not cause change, it aids in recognizing and accepting change.

For this collection of paintings, my intention was to use intuition and intention with simplification in mind.
I believed that setting a clear intention before starting each piece would help me create large, spatial & organic shapes that invite viewers to contemplate and find peace. Unlike previous works where intuition guided the final touches and marks, here I employed cognitive thinking to decide where to add details that unify the different shapes with energy and magic.
