All of Me 12” x 12” acrylic on canvas
Inspired By: John Legend
This is a beautiful song that my kids decided to make our Bulldog, Lucy's song. Specifically for the lyrics " Love your curves and all your edges All your perfect imperfections" Then I ended up seeing a man that loved John Legend and said that can't be Lucy's song and made it our song. [is this turning into a memoir?]
Stay tuned for Lucy's new song.....
This composition represents a relationship between two people. Note that neither the pink or black shape is perfect. The gold/bronze color represents love and the curves mimic the lyric. Both shapes touch each other and touch the gold intentionally. The part of the shape that touches the white signifies self and self-love, ideally concurrent with being in a relationship. Neither shape is equilateral because people have two sides, two faces and when we choose to love someone, we must be ready to make both of them feel welcomed.
