"Foundry Worker" captures the intensity of industrial labor at the heart of American manufacturing. Painted directly inside a reclaimed core box, the silhouetted worker is backlit by heat and flame.

The wood of the core box bears the scratches, wear, and the passage of time. These are not imperfections but evidence of labor before the artwork existed and labor that continues beyond it. Foundry Worker honors the dignity of work that is essential yet often overlooked.
