I would like to honor the culture of kindness that my dog Beau exhibited wherever he was. Beau never knew a stranger and loved everyone unconditionally. He never barked. We lived next to a bus stop in Coronado at that time and he would greet each person with a smile and a hug. He did not judge anyone by how they looked or smelled. Everyone was worthy of love. He loved his fellow dogs, the Navy who poured by our home in their cars in the early hours, and all who walked by. Many people planned their daily walks to come by and get a hug from Beau. One lady from Arizona who lost her sight told me that she ha longed to return to Coronado as she knew a hug from Beau would be something she can thoroughly enjoy whether she had her eyesight or not. Kindness is sometimes taking a back seat to political opinions. The world needs more kindness. The world needs more people like Beau!
