Aldo Paolucci (1941-2002) attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples (Italy), where he graduated with a Master of Arts in 1961. In 1961 he went to Paris for an art installation and moved to France permanently. His first personal exhibition was in Campobasso in 1960, his birthplace in Italy. It is there he started to paint.
