Artist: Jaclyn Davidson
Davidson is a studio jeweler and sculptor from Pittsburgh, PA. She received a Masters of Fine Arts from Kent State University, and started as a jewelry designer and instructor in the 1970s. Davidson briefly made jewelry in Israel before returning to the United States.
She is known for telling stories in her designs, and is inspired by folklore from Northern Europe, Japan, and Native American stories. Davidson has also made work that deals with the Holocaust. Her wearable works are made of many different materials, including gold, sterling silver, and weathered carbon steel.
