George Sacco was born in Sommerdale, Ohio in 1935 to Thomas and Minnie Sacco. Sacco graduated from Dover High School and was a Marine Veteran. He was an assistant Professor of Art at Kent State University and owned Plum Creek School of Pottery. Sacco passed away in 2014 at the age of 78.
