Colors are like people - they communicate so much without saying a word. Claudia Dietschi, who was born in Winterthur, knew this all too well. Colors have fascinated her since childhood, and this desire to explore the world was intensified by the feeling of not being seen or heard.So she traveled through Europe, America and Asia, and even lived for a few years in the Middle East, where colors take on completely different dimensions in their creativity and expressiveness. When she finally returned to Switzerland, she missed the liveliness of the colorful life she had experienced abroad.

In abstract expressionism, Claudia found the energy, enthusiasm and almost boundless optimism she had longed for. Here she could express herself in a way that felt seen and heard without the need for words. Through her paintings, she is able to convey to the viewer a positive, motivating attitude toward life.
