“The Swirl” Series focuses on the 16 countries that produce 80% of wine consumed in the US- Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Each painting is an abstracted shape of the countries within internal rings that represent the type of wines made in that region. The color palette is made from a variety of red wines.
