A pen-and-ink artwork, created by the artist in the mid-1970s, was inspired by the numerous palm trees near Lake Harney in Geneva, Florida where the artist resided from 1973 to 2004. Several of these drawings were created and sold by the artist to provide extra income for his family. This black and white drawing on paper was a gift to the artist's sister, Carlita Merritt, who was a lifetime resident of Maitland, Florida and Orlando native.
