A pen and ink piece, created by the artist in the mid-1970s, was inspired by an elephant ear plant that reached remarkable heights just outside a window at his residence in Geneva, Florida. This black and white drawing on paper was a gift to the artist's sister, Carlita Merritt, who was a lifetime resident of Maitland, Florida and Orlando native.
