Robin McCloskey is a San Francisco Bay Area artist working in printmaking, painting, mixed media and digital imaging. Her prints combine photo derived and manipulated imagery with traditional and experimental printmaking techniques. The primary elements of this work include the San Francisco Bay and the redwood forest in which she layers images of ordinary objects of personal significance. Robin has taught in numerous art departments including San Francisco State University, Cabrillo College, and the Academy of Art University. She currently teaches Printmaking, Drawing and Digital Illustration at Dominican University, as well as offering workshops at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley.
