Nif Hodgson received a BA from the University of Texas, Austin, and her MFA in Fine Art and Printmaking at San Francisco State University. She is a past artist-in-residence at Kala, and has received awards for her work including The Bryan Robertson Trust Award and The Murphy, Cadogan, & Phelan Fellowship from the San Francisco Foundation. Hodgson employs the repeatable, unpredictable and tactile qualities of printmaking to explore ideas of permanence, change, and perception. She publishes artist’s books, ephemera and collaborative works under the imprint Subtext Press.
