Jenny Cole
is a Bay Area visual artist interested in artifacts and our sense of place.
Raised in the Bay, she studied art and landscape architecture at CCAC and UCB.
She then worked with teams from California Academy of Sciences and grew a career steeped in Natural History Dioramas.

She now works to address, and then investigate, our maker and nature traditions.

Jenny draws with line, and sculpts in sustainable mixed materials, moved by form and anatomies.

Her approach to art and installation work honors the casual viewer or "innocent bystander", and values context over hierarchy to promote conversations.
