Monument to Black History
- Concrete
- Bill Malis
The sculpture is a serpentine shape with three curved sides. The walls have vignettes on a background of vertical lines, which are made with poured, reinforced concrete. The vignettes depict African American history from life in Africa to the Civil Rights Movement. Most of the figures are head portraits.
