Keryn Cooper’s urban landscape celebrates the City of Joondalup as a new and growing City. Bunnings Warehouse is planted firmly in the middle ground of ‘Sublime Frontiers’. Through this placement and the positioning of the ute entering the commercial complex, Cooper captures the nation’s interests in the housing booms and renovation culture. The sky is the dominating feature of this artwork. Representing the beauty of the area and possibilities, it echoes the dreams of the residents in their newly established homes.
